Dear Friends,
Wow! We did it!
On Sunday, we celebrated A Night Out (In) together. Between the entertainment, goodie baskets, silent auction, and beer samples, it truly was a night to remember.
We thank you for sharing the night with us – and for your overwhelming support.
As a community, we raised more than $38,000 for HJFS Food Security Programs.
You are incredible. There are no words.
You are showing the world the strength we have when we work together. You are ensuring that our vulnerable community members are not forgotten. You are giving a strong Jewish voice to the issue of food insecurity in our community.
I leave you with one of my favourite Yiddish folk expressions, “When you feed strangers, you occasionally feed angels.”
Hamilton, you are feeding angels. And the world is a better place because of you.
I encourage you to stay involved with HJFS. We invite you to participate in our workshops, volunteer for our programs, and/or donate to our work. For more information, connect with me directly at alexisw@hamiltonjfs.ca
